JuJu Wash is the best product to use to clean your menstrual cup during your menstrual cycle.

Many soaps are not recommended for use with a menstrual cup as they contain oils and artificial colours and fragrances which can leave a residue on your menstrual cup and cause vagal irritation or allergic reactions.

JuJu Menstrual Cup Cleansing Wash is a blend of plant-based ingredients and has antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties making it perfect for cleaning a menstrual cup.

Essential Oil from the Australian native Lemon Myrtle plant is used in JuJu Wash as it contains high levels of antimicrobial citral compounds which is said to be nature’s best sanitizer.

Whilst JuJu Wash is tough on germs, it’s gentle on your skin as it is a pH balanced and is free from sulphates, parabens, mineral oil and artificial colours and fragrances. JuJu Wash removes odours and residual build-up and has a refreshing, uplifting lemon aroma.

Use

Washing a menstrual cup regularly is essential to keep it clean during your cycle and a little goes a long way with this concentrated liquid wash. To clean a menstrual cup use JuJu Wash with warm water to form a lather. Rub the lather on all surfaces of the cup, inside and out and rinse thoroughly.

After your menstrual cycle, wash and disinfect your menstrual cup, allow it to air-dry, then store it a well-ventilated area in its storage pouch, ready for your next period.
